Yaazh 2024

The NTU Tamil Literary Society organized the "Yaazh 2024" event for the first time this year. The event featured three dance groups and two music bands consisting of young artists, with around 70 participants. It showcased a blend of Indian classical and contemporary music, along with various dance forms like hip-hop and folk dance. The participants, including both dancers and musicians, gained valuable insights into the nuances of music, instruments, and artistic direction. The event fostered a sense of community among the youth, inspiring them to explore and enhance their artistic talents. The success of the event, which involved a preparation period of about four months by a core team of 16 members, reflects the society's commitment to future editions of "Yaazh and its impact on their cultural endeavors.

NTU தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றம் இவ்வாண்டு முதல் முறையாக "யாழ் 2024" நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தியது. இந்நிகழ்வில் மூன்று நடன பயிலரங்குகளும், இரண்டு இசை பயிலரங்குகளும் வெவ்வேறு இளைய கலைஞர்களால் நடத்தப்பட்டன. இதில் சுமார் 70 இளைஞர்கள் பங்கேற்றனர்.

இந்திய பாரம்பரிய இசையும், மேற்கத்திய இசையும், இசை பயிலரங்குகளில் கற்றுக்கொடுக்கபட்டன. இசையின் வரலாறு, இசை கருவிகள், இசையமைப்பாளர்களின் சிந்தனைகள், நுணுக்கங்கள் ஆகியவற்றை இப்பயிலரங்குகளின் மூலம் பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் அறிந்துகொண்டனர். நடன பயிலரங்குகள், சமகால நடனம் (contemporary), 'ஹிப்ஹாப்', மற்றும் குத்து நடனக்கலை என மூவகைப்பட்டன.

பயிற்றுவிப்பாளர்கள் அனைவரும் புதிய திறமையான இளைஞர்களை இந்நிகழ்வின் மூலம் கண்டறிந்ததில் மகிழ்ச்சி அடைந்தனர். மேலும், கலைகளின் மீது பங்கேற்பாளர்கள் கொண்டிருந்த ஆர்வம், பயிற்றுவிப்பாளர்களை சிறப்பாக பயிற்சி அளிக்க ஊக்குவித்தது.

நிகழ்வில் பங்கு பெற்ற இளையர்கள் அனைவரும் தங்களது கலை திறன்களை மேம்படுத்திக்கொண்டதோடு, கலை திறன்களை வளர்த்துக்கொள்ளும் ஆர்வத்தையும் பெற்றனர். அனைத்து பயிலரங்குகளும் புதிதாக தொடங்குபவர்களுக்கு ஏதுவாக அமைந்தன. சமூக வலைத்தளங்களின் மூலம் பல இளைஞர்களை சென்றடைய முடிந்தது.

16 நபர்கள் கொண்ட 'யாழ் 2024' நிகழ்வின் செயற்குழு, சுமார் 4 மாதங்களாக இந்நிகழுவுக்காக திட்டமிட்டு, செயல்படுத்தி, வெற்றிகரமாக நடத்தியுள்ளனர். "வரும் ஆண்டுகளிலும் யாழ் நிகழ்ச்சியை நடத்தினால் எங்கள் அடையாள நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் ஒன்றாக அது மாறிவிடும்," என்றார் NTU TLS - ன் தலைவர்.
