Festival of Lights 2023
The Festival of Lights (FOL) 2023 at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) illuminated the essence of Deepavali, engaging the NTU community in a vibrant celebration of Indian culture. Organized collaboratively by NTU TLS, the Graduate Students Association, and the NTUSU - SIC (India), this event aimed to foster cultural exchange and appreciation through a series of interactive booths, performances and activities.
With an attendance of nearly 1200 individuals, the festival offered a platform for cultural integration and community cohesion. Participants delved into the traditions of Deepavali through activities like saree and turban tying, diya painting, and creating scratch paper Rangoli. An educational booth provided insights into why and how Deepavali is celebrated, enriching attendees' understanding of this significant festival.
Festival of Lights (2023) வருடாந்தர நிகழ்வாகும். 2023-ஆம் ஆண்டு, தமிழ் இலக்கிய மன்றம், NTU முதுகலை மற்றும் முனைவர் பட்ட மாணவர் சங்கம், மற்றும் இந்திய மன்றம் இணைந்து நடத்திய நிகழ்ச்சியாகும். இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்குபெற்றவ்களின் எண்ணிக்கை 1200. NTU மாணவர்களுக்குத் தீபாவளி என்றால் என்ன என்பது வெவ்வேறு நடவடிக்கைகளின் மூலம் புகட்டப்பட்டது. மாணவர்கள் தங்களது ஆடல், பாடல் திறன்களை வெளிகாட்டுவதற்கு ஒரு வாய்பாகவும் Festival of Lights (2023) அமைந்திருந்தது.
